Kerendia got approved by the FDA this year in the USA. Everywhere I read, it only talks about Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) in conjunction with Type 2 diabetes. Does anyone know if this new drug is also beneficial in the treatment of CKD in Type 1 diabetes?

i looked in all the academic journals I know and i did not see a thing. It is likely being studied, but but maybe not openly at this time. I wish you great luck. I know many nephrologists will prescribe these T2 medications off label for T1’s with significant CKD.
