So I just have to share...We were recently given a new meter...an Accu-Check...and used the lancing device that came with it. It's an Accu-Chek fast clix. I tried it on my finger on the lowest setting...and didn't even feel it poke me. I thought that it hadn't worked until I saw a little bit of blood come off my finger. I wanted to share this for any other parent of a little one or anyone who hasn't tried it. Hopefully this post finds someone who is need of a pain-free poker :)
My daughter has loved the accu-check lancet. We just started on a pump a month ago and had to switch meters but still use the fast click. It is the best out there!!
This is the poker my son also uses, have tried others that require you to "load" a lancet and this Accu-Chek Fast Clix is SOOOOO much better. Would "stick" with this one, no matter what meter he were to try.
We LOVE the fast clix! We also just switched to a pump recently, but kept our favorite poker. It's painless AND it's super-convenient to not have to change the lancet all the time.
I think you are talking about multi clix the one you only change every 6 pokes. We love it too, recommend them to everyone. Hope they never quit making them.
The Fastclix is the newest version. We still use the Multiclix.
