Hi! I’m looking for some help in trying to find some maternity coverage. My husband is a traveling nurse which means we are on an individual health insurance plan instead of a group plan. We got the plan shortly before I was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes. Now that we would like to add maternity coverage to our plan, they will not cover me because of the disease 
Has anyone else ran into this problem or have any advice on other options to look into. We are not low enough income for any government coverage. I have looked into one company that will cover me, but it only covers 4 doctor visits a year and then everything else is discounted. Not really the kind of coverage we were looking for! We might have to wait until he gets a permant job, but we long traveling so much we just don’t want to stop yet! Any suggestions would be helpful…thanks guys!
