Medtronic Minimed Enlite CGM Sensor and Veo Trial

Howdy folks,

I am blogging again about the Medtronic Minimed Enlite CGM Sensor and Veo (Low Glucose Suspend) Pump Trial.

I started the Enlite Sensor this week and I love it! May start the Veo if picked in randomized trial on May 7. Stay tuned and feel free to ask questions or share comments!

How do you get picked to do a trial? I have a cgms and would love to try this new one. It looks like it’s not as painful. Should I contact Medtronic? Please let us all know what you think of the new cgm I’m excited to hear your review.

My doctor's office has a research division. I did a trial for the Freestyle navigator in 2006 and they know I love a good study, especially for CGM's and Pumps. I also met the qualifying requirements. Fortunate, I guess. Please follow along with me on my blog! Hard to keep up with all my social networks, but the blog will give you everything you want to know. I just added easy "Follow by email," option to my homepage. It is at www.diabteslifebalance.com

Thanks for the great review! I hope they have a "manual" insertion option. Hidden needle inserters sort of make me cringe.

They have manual insertion. I like this serter. Feels a lot less scary than even the Quickset infusion set serter. Just did a new sensor and it felt just fine!

I've really enjoyed reading your blog - both the insights you share about these new devices and how informative it is. There are not really many blogs that I'd call "outstanding" but yours is one of that small but elite group. If I could say one thing, it'd be "keep 'em coming!"
