Below is a message from our dear, departed jrtpup's daughter, Hilary

Hi friends of mom's!


We are much delayed in coming together locally to honor and celebrate my mother's life, but we have now been able to make arrangements to do so and hope you can, too!

We will be having memorial service for mom at the UUFN in Newark, DE, on June 21, 2014, 11:00 am EST, with a small reception on site afterwards.

All who would like to attend are welcome!

If you are unable to attend, but would like us to speak a few words of remembrance regarding mom on your behalf, please feel free to email your sentiments to Emily (TuDiabetes Community Manager) at emily2@diabeteshf.org, or you may snail mail them to the house (please request address from Emily, if you do not have it). Likewise, if there are photos or anything you might want to have shared during the memorial and/or reception, please send them along.

I still look at her photo and can't believe she is gone. What an amazing human being!

Realized how much I'm missing Barbara today.

I'm leaving in a few minutes to drive up for this service. I'll try and write a few words here when I return. It breaks my heart to have lost a dear friend, but I also know that in some way she is there smiling down on us.
