So todays my bi,rthday,yay i guess.Iam used to celebrating birthdays the new orleans way cooking lasania,bbq meatballs,stuffed shrimp,red beans,jambalaya and finishing it off with a big piece of cake with butercream icing lol.But boy have things changed since last year.Now i have D and sugar is banned.And I cant fing a sugarfree cake no where all i can find is the ice cream oh well.

Well Happy B’day, the world is better for you being here, D or not!
I too will be celebrating my first B’day w/ D at the end of this month. I probably won’t be thinking much about it though. D is a minor thing in a sense compared to the other stuff I think about on a regular basis. He’s just another person to take care of, but he also helps me take care of myself, which is a first for me! I welcome him to my B’day party (I don’t know why he has taken on a male persona), and raise a toast in his honor!

time goes by this year will be my 8th year i remeber my first year my mom gave me this big party and it was like the first time since my diagnois i had cake!
