My A1C Improved!

I’m sorry I haven’t been around for a while. I have a very scattered brain, and too many projects in my head. But I realized this is the place I should hang out at more often, so here I am… With good news!

I had an appointment with my endo last week. It turns out my efforts are being rewarded for my A1C went down from 7.2% to 6.2% - I know I still have to work on it, but the doctor was very satisfied with the results. So was I!

My thyroid levels are normal after months, so my metabolism is helping matters. I’m eating healthier and in smaller portions, and I’ve lost 10 pounds since November. All this without torturing myself or thinking I can’t do it. I’m very proud.

If all goes as expected, in a year I can even work on getting pregnant.

I hope everyone is doing well!

that’s wonderful news!

Congratulations! If you want to become pregnant, then you are on the right track!

Well done! and good luck with the baby.

That is great news and I know how that feels about getting the A1C down mine was 8.3 and went back to the dr last week and it is down to 6.3 I know I still have more to get that down but keep up the great work and congrats to you.

That’s great news! I am very happy for you!

wow - a fantastic drop, and a great A1c result!
Congrats! I hope that makes you feel good about all the work you’ve put into it

Wow!!! That’s so encouraging.

Is it my imagination or are we hearing a lot of reports along these lines of late? It sure seems like it!

We’re all going low carb aren’t we? No more trying to work out how to cover a high carb meal with our medication, which isn’t all that good for purpose. We need more short acting meds.

I am not low carbing it. I do not like meat enough to do that and I have just found out that I have an allergy to tree nuts.
