My First Endo Appointment since my Diagnosis 5.6 from 10.7

I had my first endo appointment yesterday and found out that my A1c went from 10.7 to 5.6 from July 18th to Nov.12 Everyone was shocked and they asked me if I am ready for the pump. I have decided to think about it and they gave me some info but, I am going to stick with shots for now. I took info on the minimed and omnipod. Thanks to all those who have answered all my questions and all of the forums thus far. I could not have done it all without the support of my family and my TuDiabetes family.

Ron,Good job on reducing your A1c.Did you do that on injections?You must have worked very hard.My A1c used to be in the 8’s but since I started pumping it has gone down to 6.7.I feel on top of the world.If I think about it hard enough I could cry.I been pumping since February of 2008.It’s hard to believe it has been a year almost.I almost feel that I was born with the pump attached to me.I hope you are doing well.
