My mom was watching the news one day and a story came up about how this women is training dogs to be diabetic alert dogs. My mom contacted her and the women said we were very good candidates for the dog being my dad and I are both type 1 and my dad has seizures. She really wanted us to have one of the puppy even dropping the price dramtically, we weren't so sure how the dog we have now and that one would get along so we didn't take the offer. However she contacted us about how she is gonna take a few people and teach them and there dogs. This was really exciting because I love my dog so much he is my shadow and he is smart being a German sheppard Lab mix, he loves learning new things. This is kinda a test run for the trainer so cross our fingers and hope it works out. We have a meeting tomorrow so I'll keep you guys updated.
Sounds exciting! Best of luck to you and your best friend.
