My week

Well this week has been full of ups and downs. Just want to thank Sri, he read my blog and contacted Animas on my behalf about an insulin pump. Turns out they have a financial assistance program and also do payment arrangements and they are supposed to be sending my the paper work for financial assistance so I might get the pump after all. That would be so wonderful if I could get on it. I am now working 6 days a week, Sunday is my only day off, but I am supposed to start getting every other Saturday off as they just hired a new girl. My first 8 week session of classes are almost over. Short of totally bombing my last few assignments looks like I will finish with a 4.0. My next round of classes start a week from tomorrow. I am taking 12 hours of class in an 8 week period so should be an interesting session to say the least. Between working 30 hours a week and 12 hours of class, I should be quite busy. Almost had to call 911 on myself at work yesterday as my blood sugar decided it wanted to bottom out to fast and nothing was wanting to work to get it up. I had glucagon shot, glucose gel, glucose tablets, regular pepsi and gatorade. Not matter what I ate or drank if it had a lot of sugar in it I threw it right back up the minute it hit my stomach. Have no clue what was up with that. Does anyone else have that problem with sugar? Paged my doctor and he told me that I had to force myself not to throw up and finally got my sugar back up and quit having symptoms and once I got it back up again, the throwing up quit. Thursday I find out if they are going to operate on my shoulder. I am so hoping it doesn’t come to that, but it doesn’t look good at all.

I have had rotor cup surgery about 1 1/2 years ago! It does take time and phicialy (sp still waiting on my coffee to make) theorphy to get back in action but it’s worth it. I had 1/2 of my rotor cup torn and my shoulder was driving me crazy! It hurt sooooo bad and I couldn’t even hold a gallon of milk with out dropping it and watching it bust all over the floor! I will not say that recovery doesn’ but after you get threw rhe recovery you will at least be able to hold a gallon of milk! HA!!!
