If you change batteries during a bolus delivery, your PDM will have a clock reset alarm which will render the active pod unable to communicate with the PDM. You will have to change to a new pod to reestablish a connection. I was told by the tech support folks that they recommend changing batteries while at the home screen only. FYI Insulet replaced the pod as a courtesy. This is not in the owner's manual... Live and learn...
