I have been having lots of Bluetooth connection loss issues between my iPhone XR and my G6 sensors/receivers. I talked to Dexcom today, and the Technician told me that the iPhone was probably using the 4.4.1 version of the Dexcom App; he said I should go to the App Store and update my Dexcom app to the 1.611 version. I checked online, and there is no such thing available. Did I misunderstand the Technician? Does anyone have a clue what he was talking about?
Mine’s 1.4.4 too. App Store says this is 3 months old (I started G6 in January)
Mine looks the same, and I could not find any updates online. Plus, in my mind, it would not make sense to go from a Version 4.1.1 to a Version 1-something. I am at a loss to understand this.
That is all I could find, too. I think that either the Technician misspoke, or I misheard what he said. Sigh. At this point, I guess I will just do my best and go forward. If it really becomes horrible, I will call Dexcom again.
Dexcom G6 iPhone app version 1.6.1 is available in the App Store starting today, March 10. I updated and it seems to work.

I saw that it was available yesterday, too, and I update my phone. Within 10 minutes of doing so, I got a Signal Loss alert and a message to reset the Bluetooth. This morning, so far, so good. I will have to wait to see if this version gives me less Signal Loss alerts than the old version. Fingers crossed!
And v1.6.2 is on my iPhone, so I guess thst’s available.
