so i was watching TV and wanted to verify something outrageous they claimed, that dydentery can be cured by eating fresh camel dung,. Yes, Steaming fresh camel poo, straight off the desert floor. I read the attached article that calims that the same can be done for diabetes.. I am not recommending this by any means, if i was i would be cured, and i am not because i am not going to eat camel poo. Anyway, read the article if oyu ned a good chuckle, and post your own!

I have no article to share, only a story I heard about a med for diabetes. It seems that byetta started as the spit of a helia (sp) monster — you know those reptiles in the desert. Now what I want to know is who was injecting spit of this ugly animal that found out that it worked on diabetics not only to bring down your blood sugars but help stave off the munchies and lose weight. I want to see the people who participated in the study?
People are always proposing some new cure, or herbal supplement. Just now, in my other group I moderate, some woman is spamming about some product called Eleotin, or some other garbage proposing to completely cure you, whether it’s Type 1 (beta cell death), or Type 2 (insulin resistance)… bah. i’ve also heard about rattlesnake and scorpion venom having effects that can relieve diabetes. i think it is interesting what avenues people are pursuing, even if they are unappealing or in the end do not live up to what they propose.
