I just got an e-mail about a survey from Insulet. I'm sure all of you will get it, but in case you don't or didn't....
Time to sound off, as I'm sure a few of you will :)

Oh geez… Thanks for the heads up though. Should be interesting for them.
Not that they will even look...they dont look at any other emails sent
Thanks, Scott!
Pretty bold of them to put that up while jerking us around with the new system
Would you prefer they not do this? Really? Stop it with the self centered ego already.
Who wants to reply to a person who is being ugly...
Just saying they dont reply to anything else, so what makes you think they will take this for anything more than making us THINK they care?
They've replied to me many times. I'd give up on your questions if I were you though, as anyone could guess you won't get an answer. Make someone mad and they stop talking to you, plain and simple. They've provided a lot of information so far. And have done a lot more than most medical companies for reaching out to their customers, in my opinion. Could they have done better? Sure, so could anyone. Keep asking for too much and you'll continue to be disappointed is all I'm saying. How much is too much? Easiest way to figure that out is when you get disappointed...
It is very simple...they HAVE pdm's in stock..i have my pods...simple enough to send the PDM and not hear from me again....right?
Clearly it is unproductive to keep pushing for something that is not going to happen. Most likely the people you are able to talk to have no control whatsoever over what happens and are just trying to do their jobs by providing you with whatever information they are able to give. They don’t decide what they are and are not able to tell you. Yes, it is unfortunate. But it’s the way it is right now.
I don't have the answer, nor does anyone else here. I'm sure there's a good one. But if you keep being ugly about it you probably won't get an answer.
I find it crazy that one of the management people cant make something happen...
To completely block someone says a lot about the company
Their attitude of "we cant we cant we cant" is no way to run a company... Everyone knows things are possible..and "i cant and I dont know" aren't solutions.
Something someone told me a while back "You are in control of your happiness. Nobody else. Nothing anyone else can do, say or make can make you happy if you don't want to be. If you want to be happy, then you need to decide to be happy all on your own."
I'll be blunt..
If I had a supply of pods I couldn't use, I'd be concerned too. I don't think there's a person on these boards who wouldn't sympathize with your situation.
What's hard to deal with is the constant complaining that spans half of the active threads in this forum now. I sympathize with your situation, but your sense of entitlement makes me want to put you on ignore. I can only imagine what it must be like to get a phone call or email from you at this point. If I picked up the phone and had to talk to someone who would go on a public forum and call me a b**** for not getting a PDM sent ASAP, I certainly wouldn't take that call either.
Finally, if I had such low regard for a company that I'd complain about how their eco exchange program is one big scam, an issue that has nothing whatsoever to do with my situation, I wouldn't be a customer with that company anymore. I wouldn't care how good I thought the product is.
The way things are with pump companies, you could probably be on the phone with Animas or Medtronic today and have perfectly usable pump on your doorstep tomorrow. It sounds like it's more about sticking it to Insulet at this point for putting you through the ringer anyway.
The minute a similar product is available...Im on it and out of your hair...
The only way this company will change their ways is if they are overwhelmed by reasonable people..I know a lot of people dont wanna speak up, but if more did, we wouldn't have this problem
I guess that's the difference of opinion here isn't it? What, exactly is reasonable?
Sorry I missed this but if you are happy with the state of tubeless technology, did you try asking for an exchange of pods to go with your perfectly functional PDM instead of insisting that everyone from the customer service rep on the phone to the president of the company personally see to it that you get your new PDM, now?
Like I said, personally, no piece of technology is worth my soul. I mean, they are trying to force you out of warranty to basically steal your money. They are stealing people's money and telling them they are trying to save the planet with a "recycling program". The Omnipod can't be all that good to have to put up with an evil company personally making my life a living hell and surreptitiously destroying the environment, one pod at a time, in the process.
This situation is exactly like everything else. Most of Insulet's customers haven't reached our quotas of personal affronts by Insulet so we are satisfied with the way things are going.
I'm willing to shoulder a lot of the blame for being a satisfied customer. Not saying that can't change. But, if it does, I won't be a customer anymore.
Hear, hear, FHS and Scott! I've just gone to ignoring all of the complainants posts. However, both of you make excellent points and I concur wholeheartedly.
Its not the technology im not satisfied with..its the fact that they aren't putting the pdm's that are in existence to use...
