Hi all. I am new to this site but not new to diabetes. I have a sister and a sister in law that are on here and have only heard good things about the support here. I was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes when I was 19 (only 7 days after my b-day).
My name is Lita Emma Jean Jones-Johnson. I know my name is kinda long so I just go by Lita. I am married and I have 4 kids. They are the love of my life. I am now using a MiniMed 522 insulin pump and having the best control of my diabetes than I ever had with MDI.
I'm looking forward to meeting some new people here. I am hoping to be of encouragement and offer you all here support like you all have given me and my family over the last year.
