Online Events (Including a SuperMoon!) for World Diabetes Day, November 14th...Please add any you know of!

Sharing some of the Diabetes Online Community happenings on Monday. I know we all live with diabetes Every. Day. but it’s always a wonderful way to share our stories and our voices with others, and hopefully connecting people to our community! Please feel free to add!

During the event, which will happen on the eve of November 14, the Moon will appear up to 14 percent bigger and 30 percent brighter than an average full moon. This is the closest the Moon will get to Earth until 25 November 2034, so you really don’t want to miss this one.

again this year there will be a 24 hour tweet chat, with 24 different hosts. follow the hashtag #WDDchat16 to participate. Here is the schedule

I will be following along at various times during the day. This is an excellent example of the power and beauty of Twitter. If you’re new to Twitter and have questions, I’d be glad to assist. (and make sure you follow @diabeteshf and also @sweetercherise and @diabetesSocMed )
I’m @MarieBe over there

I’ll be there too!!

@mrmikelawson and @TypeJones will be representing DHF on the 3:00 pm ET time block to talk about “Being a Better Advocate”
