List all the DIABETIC related #hashtags with EXPLANATION OR MEANING
Are there any Health related hashtags people should know .........
To name a few:
#diabetes usually refers to anything referring to diabetes
#bgnow referring to ones’ current blood glucose level e.g #bgnow 105
#dblog refers to diabetic blogs
#bgwed most diabetics on Twitter knows this. Im not really sure how it came about. As far as I know it was created for all people touched by diabetes simply for awareness, support, and the assurance that we are not alone.
Im sure Ive missed a lot, ohers who are on Twitter will pitch in =)
#bgwed started as an idea to raise diabetes awareness by all of us tweeting our blood glucose readings on Wednesdays. We hoped that enough people would do this to make #bgwed a trending topic (like #bigbluetest on November 14, World Diabetes Day). Some folk, and some Twitter applications, use trending topics to let other users know what seems to be most important to tweeple at the given moment.

I thought it was an invention of Diabetic Living magazine.
I think #Diabetic is similar to #Diabetes… whenever you use that adjective, as in reference to a person or thing, you can reference it with a hash tag… #Diabetic supplies, etc. I’m a #Diabetic… Stuff like that. I dunno the other ones.
Ohhh #sweatbetes means you are person with Diabetes who is exercising, or has just exercised, or is talking about exercise/their favorite exercise routine. I use that one… along with #diabetes, #diabetic, #bgnow, occasionally, #bgwed…
#dfeast is the Friday recipe tweets by PWD – note the dish and link to the recipe
#dsma is Diabetes Social Media; it’s an hour-long guided talk 9PM Eastern Time on Twitter, similar to the #hcsm (healthcare social media) chat on Sunday evenings at 8PM Eastern Time, but limited to topics of interest to PWD.
