Twitter account?

Seems like a few of us have gotten on the Twitter bandwagon lately… For those of you not familiar with it, Twitter is like a microblogging platform that allows you to write posts that do not exceed 140 characters. For more details on what it could be useful for, read this post I wrote a while back.

For Twitter members, go ahead and post your Twitter account here, so we may connect.

Just so that those who are not Twitter members (and don’t want to join Twitter, for whatever reason), there’s a cool way in which you can share your Twitter posts here:

  1. Go to your twitter page: mine is http://twitter.com/askmanny
  2. Scroll all the way to the bottom, look for a link labeled “RSS Feed” and copy the link.
  3. Go to your TuDiabetes page and scroll halfway through the page. You will see a box on the left with the label “RSS feed” (or something similar). Click on Edit.
  4. You can change the title, paste the URL from the Twitter feed (or actually, any other feed -such as your blog’s for the matter), choose whether to display titles only or detailed view and the number of items to display.
  5. Click “Save” and enjoy…

Hey, Christine!

Thought you’d find this other topic useful: there’s a few other TuDiabetes members who listed their Twitter profile pages.

Take care,

Oops! Thanks Manny!
