Patience in the Face of Adversity

It’s a Friday night here in California. I just watched the Boston Bruins play for the Stanley Cup and, unfortunately, be beaten by the Vancouver Canucks. For those who care, Vancouver leads 3-2 in the series. But that isn’t the real reason I am writing. I have been coming to realize that patience as I am older is more torture than virtue.

So why write about patience being torture? Let’s think about it. How many of us on a daily basis with everything we have to do to maintain our health as diabetics haven’t at least once wanted to give up?
