I am three weeks po-op for cataract surgery on my left eye. The day after surgery my vision was 20/25, now three weeks later my vision is 20/60. My next appointment with the cataract specialist is in two weeks. He is trying to figure-out the change for the worst in my vision.
I would love to hear others experience with cataract surgery and any advice you may have for me.
The day after cataract sugery I couldn't even make out the big "E" on the eye chart. This was several years ago. It cleared up--to a point. My eyes check out at 20/25, but my vision is not good. It looks as though the left lens in my glasses is dirty. My new ophtha shot that eye with a laser. I see no difference. I've been told I have macular degeneration, but it's not bad. uh huh. Then why can't I see as well as I used to? I have yet to start reading street signs and now I'm having problems with small print. Cataract surgery was not helpful for me. Good luck.
Yvonne, I am sorry. I hope your vision eventually improves or at least the doctors have another solution to improve your vision. Thank you for responding to my discussion. Keep me posted on your eyesight and any changes.
