Today’s weight is 242.2, from 260 op date April 23. So far, all going well, though I want to see lower b s levels esp in the mornings. Was 7.7 two hours after “breakfast” of plain oatmeal this morning, is better than before. My goal is to make type 2 go away.
Cheers! Grant
Good luck Grant. I hop eyou get ehat you want.
Grant, are you a member of our Group about gastric bypass?

my good friend debb here started the Group. She had it done last year.
Grant, good to read, that you had your surgery …hang in , be well and take care…
BTW, I don’t think gastric bypass (or Drastic Bypass, which is what I call it) is for everyone. It seemed to suit me, my life situation (limited time for exercise during weekday) and health otherwise (just really fat, healthy otherwise). My physical hunger is over - so far - and I don’t mind quaffing yet another optifast shake or instant breakfast. I do yearn for texture - so I snitch a half piece of rye bread or a cracker (both low fat, low sugar).
Just like old Nutrisystem used to say: that bad food doesn’t taste as good as the weight loss feels.
