hey Sufu – I just went on the pump last week (dx in December) and the very next day had to fly cross country for work… my numbers were quite high, too, largely because the pump trainer didn’t believe that I have a 1:10 insulin/carb ratio given how little basal I’m on. They’re better now, but not perfect. We just gotta ride the learning curve… My nurse practiotioner assures me I’m doing fantastically, and that it’s normal for the numbers to be a little worse before they’re better. Good luck!
Thanks! Today was much better. I see where I need to add some different basal rates for early afternoon and before dinner on non-workout days.
I’m 1:20 and that’s holding ok by pry closer to 1:15 since I haven’t been able to work out in 3 days.
