Hello all!
As promised the QUITTER is on to new adventures!
It’s now been 5 and 1/2 weeks since my last cigarette and I can’t tell you how proud I am of myself. I can get up and not go straight outside to smoke. I’ve actually learned to let my two dogs outside by themselves! I can drive and not smoke. I’m enjoying the freedom.
Now, I’m onto bigger and better things!
I walked about 7 miles on my treadmill last week. I’ve joined a few other TuD folks on a weigh loss mission and it finally kicked in this morning. As of this morning I’ve LOST 2.5 pounds. Yesterday was our official weigh in and I was only down .6 pounds and I was a little bummed, but today it showed! I am so thrilled! So I’m telling everyone that the QUITTER LOSES!!! LOL. It’s working for me.
Six whole pounds! Great, now I know where I found mine! You know, the medicos advise a loss of only 1-2 pounds per week! 4-8 pounds per month. What’s the time span in your loss? I bet you did just fine!!
On behalf of all the anti-smoking people in this world, I would like to thank you for not poisoning a portion of our air. And my lungs. YEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!

No… that says POINT-6 (.6) the point must be small on your computer. I average about 1-2 pounds per week. No worries. But thank you for the concern. Time span is 7 months. Goal is 20-30 pounds. Basically I’m giving myself 56 weeks.
I meant to email you, but have been so busy with work. I also made a blog for us to keep up with our quitter status. I will mail you the information. I’m still smoke free as well - when we hit the 3 month mark we need to treat ourselves to pretty clothes. Remember, no voice boxes for us!
