R.I.P. Saundra Barragan

Good-bye Saundra, but not forever! We will meet again and rejoice in God’s paradise. She was an amazing woman, she will always be in our hearts. Her legacy will forever live on this site. We love you, Saundra! Patti

We will miss her kind words and wonderful sense of humor.

We beseech Thee, O Lord,
in Thy mercy,
to have pity on the soul of Thy handmaid Saundra;
do Thou, Who hast freed her
from the perils of this mortal life,
restore to her the portion of everlasting salvation.
Through Christ our Lord,

Amen.

I was so sad after reading the message…She will stay in our memories. All my thoughts are with her family.

I pray for you, your family and friends, and you are in my heart, my dear dear friend. Gone to a world without pain, without diabetes, a world to be free, happy, at peace and forever young. Love you forever…linda.

Saundra was an inspiration to me and to so many of us here. I am so sorry for her passing and you all will be in my thoughts and prayers.

My family and myself send our most heartfelt sympathies. I know we are not promised tomorrow but it is always so shocking when something like this happens. May God give her family the strength that is needed to get throuhg the next several days and many wonderful memories to keep Saundra alive.

Her family is in my prayers. This much be such a difficult time.
Such a loss for this community! Rest in peace Saundra.

This is a tremendous loss to our family. I will be sharing how Sandy changed my life in the days to come. Right now, my grief is overwhelming. I will miss her so much. She was the soul of this community, and we will continue to love and support each other as she did with us every day.

Thank you for letting us know. I hope God comforts you all in this difficult time.

Her family will be in my prayers

So, So Sad.
Sandy, we’ll remember you in the words of this song By Elton John.

One more arrow, flying through the air
Landing in a shady spot, somewhere
Where day and night turn into one
And She can always feel the Sun
Through the soft brown earth that holds her
Forever,
Always,
Young

How very sad. Saundra’s family is in my prayers.

Manny, thank you for sharing this news. I have posted on her page for her family to read.

Thoughts and prayers to Saundra’s family as they are missing their loved one.

Although I never had the honor of personally meeting Saundra her passing touched my heart. When I looked at her picture…she was about the same age as my mom when she passed from diabetes. Please know that Saundra and her family are in my prayers and will remain so. There was a verse that was shared with us at both Mom and Dad’s passing. It may not help at this very moment, but maybe in the days to come: "Do not stand at my grave and weep… For I am not here, I do not sleep. I am now a thousand winds that blow - I am that glint on winters snow. I am sunlight on ripening grain, and autmuns soft falling rain. When you awake in mornings hush, I am the swift uplifting rush of birds in circling flight. I am now a stars soft shinning light. Do not stand at my grave and cry - remember me, just remember me, I will never die."
Godspeed Saundra…May your pain be gone…your smile bright and your wings ever light.

Rest in peace Saundra. Our diabetic guardian angel!
