Hi TuDiabetes friends,
Many of you have given us feedback that when you look at a person's profile you'd like to know who in their life has diabetes, and you can't tell because the profile question says "I or my loved-one". So we've changed it! That statement has been replaced by the statement "The PRIMARY person in my life who has diabetes has...", and preceding that we have added a statement "The PRIMARY person in my life who has diabetes is..." with options to choose yourself, your child, spouse, sibling.... The hope is that this information will help us all to better connect and understand each others' perspectives when we interact on the site.
Please update your profile! The statement "I or my loved-one has..." will have automatically been replaced in the your profile to reflect the same type of diabetes you indicated upon registration, but the statement about who has it will not appear in your profile unless you update it. To do that:
1. Click "settings" on the right-hand side of any page (looks like this →)
2. Scroll down to "profile questions" and complete the first field: "The PRIMARY person in my life who has diabetes is *"
(looks like that ↓↓↓)
