I have had two bouts of gout this quarter, enough stress to make it a calamity, and not enough good choices in food to give me about a 13,8. But the diabetic god was with me, and it was only 7.5 I was blessed, and not very happy with myself. No one else needs to tell me what can happen, I am only ultimately aware of the things that happen when you don’t take care of yourself.
I have also lost 70 lbs now, swim for 60 minutes each day, and take my meds religiously. So I do take care of things quite well…my down fall, Mocha Frappe’s at McD’s. I love 'em, can’t tell you why, it’s ice, water and a chocolate powder. But it seems to be a way of soothing myself. I don’t eat at Mcd"s I just drink their frappe’s. So I have set up a list of things I am willing to commit to this quarter, and I will stick to it.
- NO MORE FRAPPE’s, unless I make the ones I can drink at home
- Swimming, no matter how long I want to stay in bed.
- Continue meds
4.Food plan of 100 - 120 carbs per day/ weigh in once a week with Val - Stand up for me, and don’t be tricked into allowing friends to make my choices
6.Be consistent with myself.
Life is worth living, and living it to the best height you can get.
