Resources for spouses and partners of people with type 1 diabetes

A partner nonprofit group is working on an online program for T1D spouses/partners (to go live in just a few months) and they approached us asking about our recommendations for online resources, blogs, youtube videos, books that we might recommend for spouses/partners of adults with type 1 diabetes.

the last one, even though it says "children with diabetes", they have the well known "Friends for Life" annual get together, which many of our members have attended as adults, with or without their families

Wow, that wife of a diabetic site is grim, although the most recent episode suggests that the dude has moved out.

One rather quirky site that could be helpful is Diabetes Squared @ http://www.diabetessquared.com. It was created by two film makers who have TWO kids with Type 1 diabetes. I confess that one of them is my cousin Elizabeth and hope this doesn't count as "promoting" a product. I have had T1 for 52 years and actually found it instructive.
