I hope everyone affected by Sandy is safe and sound. I'm keeping our east coast friends in my prayers.
I too am keeping our east coast friends in my thoughts and prayers. I hope the basic needs - food, water, shelter - are easily obtained for all those affected.
I feel really bad about all those harmed by this storm. I was very, very lucky. The predicted winds never appeared and although we had a lot of rain and had a little infiltration of the house it was minimal. And though we lost one apple tree, it was already weakened. And best of all, we never lost power.
I consider myself lucky. The second hurricane I have survived this season (phtt to you Isaac).
