I have tried to search for several different things under the forum and keep getting zero results. Am I doing something wrong? Is there a special way I should be searching for things? Any help would be appreciated.
TuDiabetes is built on the ning platform and unfortunately, the search is really not that good. What I do is use google to search TuDiabetes. If you enter the search term '"zero results" site:tudiabetes.org"' you get as the first hit this exact post. You can narrow your search to the forums with the search '"zero results" site:www.tudiabetes.org/forum/' and you get exactly one hit, this post.

I would like to propose that TuDiabetes creates a custom search within Google. This is a search box that can be embedded on the TuDiabetes site. It can be customized in a way that it will only show Google results from the pages in the forum.
I believe such a change would require a change to the underlying ning platform. But that is something we could certainly ask about.
