The local rep sent out invites to meet with her, the trainer, and Kevin at a local watering hole. Not sure what’s bringing him to Denver, but I’m looking forward to the opportunity to pick his brain a bit. Sounds like a very informal but informative gathering. I think it’s extraordinary for Insulet to do something like this.

One thing I don’t understand about the new PDA is “why didn’t they include a belt clip holder in their design plans?” It wouldn’t have take a whole lot of extra effort to make a holder like the present one that clips to our belt. I’ve seen cell phone holders in the store yesterday and none of them looked to be the right size for the new PDA. After paying that kind of money for a new one, I sure don’t want to have it hit the pavement as I’m taking my morning bike ride. I’m excited about the new PDA but really disappointed not to have a holder to keep it safe.

I got a case with a clip on it with mine…hmmmm…but I just started on the Pod the end of last year…maybe they just added that feature for new users??
I also just started the Omnipod at the end of last year and I did get a case with a clip on it. I was referring to the new PDM that is coming out.

Ah ha! Got ya. Maybe the old case will fit the new PDM? Wishful thinking?
As wide as many of the smart phones are like the blackberry…surely there is a case already out there that will fit the new PDM.
Just got off the phone with Insulet and talked with the supervisor of the “re-order” department and she said “there will be a case with a belt clip for the new PDM that is coming out.” I re-ordered on that basis, sure hope she is right.

I just got through, didn’t preorder because I didn’t have my credit card on me but I did get more info. The $149.99 price is permanent for all upgrades, they say it will not change. Also, I got them to send me the PDF file released to Insulet Employees about the new PDM. Lots of good info on it. I’ve attached it so check it out. Those who preorder will be the first to get it so they say to get your orders in soon!
