Call Abbot Diabetes they might be able to tell you waht is going on and if it is fixable or not.
You can download the User’s guide at this link.
Does it say “Er4”? Here is what the manual says about that:
"Error 4
Possible Causes
• Problem with test strip.
• Problem with the meter.
What You Should Do
- Conduct a control solution test using a new test strip. If the results
of the control solution test are within the range printed on the side
of your test strip vial, retest using blood and a new test strip. - If the retest using control solution"
Doesn’t sound too good
Let us know if it starts working again!!
I had a issue with my freestlye this week the strips would not turn the meter on…I called abbott and they are sending me a new meter and strips .
Mine has been doing that in the morning because it is too cold! I take the meter out of the case and hold it up to my bare belly for 30 seconds each side and then it works.
Could it be too cold?
drew
batteries?
