Hi All, We are having an ongoing problem with syncing our data and our cde being able to view.
Finally dug out an old windows xp machine so we will be able to meet abbot’s archaic software requirements ( we have about 3k of apple hardware that is new that doesnt work, of course )
have downloaded, added our endo, synced, and viewed 100% sync bar on our computer, so abbott says that it’s a version control update at our endo’s office.
That was the problem last week, they must have updated their computers to windows 7 or something ( so the sync was not completed on KOSAIR’s end)
so again this morning they are not able to see last week’s data.
I have the abbott guy calling our cde this morning to see what he has figured out.
It is such a shame that such incredible technology is potentially going to fail because of this archaic software and lack of a web based platform on omnipod’s end?? Gil are you out there? you know the software guys over at omnipod??
i understand that they are " tied " to abbott for the time being, but this is insane!!
Kosair is NOT recommending omnipod for this very reason, I finally figured out. It’s just to difficult for them to view data, they do not recommend the pod. They have to spend too much time on this version control problem on their end. We only got it from our endo because my daughter really wanted it.
I’d really like to help Omnipod in solving this problem, because I now understand the magnitude of it.
