so it osunds like go with the medtronic for the rest of the warranty then go to the x2. if i am reading your post right even tho i know you are comparing the two. i .like how it suspends when your low. that helps bring it up to normal which is what i needed to be done anyways. from what i am reading that it blouses automatically for the highs?
The 670 will suspend for lows, predictive low’.
The X2 will do this pretty soon.
The X2 will do ‘predictive high’ probably around 2019.
ahh ok…i understand now. well its better than what the animas does…none of that. so there is possibilities of going too low and too high once the low is fixed or too low when the levels are high and giving yourself too much insulin. wouldve of been nice if animas had the supend when low. probably make it a lot easier in not going lower
I would be sure that they aren’t going to basically reset your warranty period if you get the Medtronic… I could see them doing that. Then you would be stuck with the pump you don’t really want for 4-5 more years.
I had seen something on the Tandem website about working with Animas and Roche customers to switch over to it, have you talked to Tandem? I think that might even cover if you are still under warranty.
for animas to switch over its $999.00. so its not like medtronics where they will honor your switching over as animas suggested them. i cant get tandem anyways as im still under warranty with my animas pump. ill have to wait until warranty is over. im waiting for medtrnoics to actually get back to me in fact so i can ask them about the warranty issue. i hope my warranty wont be reset. but i cant again get the tandem one. i dont have the $999.00 to get it in the first place. im poor as it is! ill have to just wait until i get calls backs, etc. my phone doesnt work in calling out that well in my apt due to connection. but i do have a lot on my notebook written down.
