What happened: Small stress meltdown.
What happened next: Big recovery, hiding out in a bed and breakfast, turning off cell phones and leaving laptops in their cases at home.
What I felt: Much freaking better. Stress rips up one side of me and down the other, both diabetes-wise and emotionally. I don't manage stress very well, so I needed a little R & R at a B & B. (Ha and ha!)
After a weekend in God's country with my fiance, I feel much better. We even finalized our wedding guest list, narrowed down bridesmaid dress choices, and started looking at photographers. Stress stinks, but weekends work to help whittle it down.
