I am just curious if anyone has tattoos? If so how did they heal? My endo isn’t so keen on the idea of me getting one, just curious to hear what everyone has to say.
check out the tattoo club under groups. I have 6 tattoos, and i got them after i got diabetes (this is year 2 for me). Just make sure your sugar is good, that you tell the artist that you have diabetes, you take snacks and your meter. Depending on what you’re getting done the tattoo process can be stressful on your body, try and keep your sugars on target, and make sure to follow the after care. Drink lots of fluids to and call the doc if it gets infected.
Mine healed fine, but you every “body” (haha pun) is different. Very important to follow the after care!

No probs with healing after getting tatts, apart from my flatmate whacking me in the arm.
I have two tats. One is fairly large on my back and I got it when I was I think 8 or 9 years into being diabetic, and my second one is on my wrist and I got that last year (almost 11 years in). both tats healed faster than expected which was pretty cool. Just keep an eye on your blood sugar readings and correct if they go high
