Thank all of you in the tudiabetes community. I have found the comments, advice, suggestions not only helpful in allaying my fears but also increasing my personal awareness and instilling a wider care for ALL of us and others w/ chronic diseases.

David this is beautiful sentiment on your birthday! I agree when we care for others we care deeper for ourselves and our loved ones and our burden is lessened. If the world could work on developing one global quality compassion/empathy would save the individual and the world! Many, many blessing to you on your special day I am glad you are in a better place with your diabetes and are living well despite circumstances in your life. I stated a new book today and was touched by her opening statement "The circumstances of your life do not describe, and cannot constrain the greatness of your soul" by Scythia Andrews. Keep shining brightly and celebrate YOU!
