I just wanted to take the time to thank everyone who has been there for me... Who has gone above and beyond to try to understand, and lend a helping hand... Who has left me supportive comments, and reassuring thoughts, and who has helped out with strips because I've lost my income, and who has simply been there for me... I am thankful to you, because you are the heartbeat of TuDiabetes, and you are the reason I keep coming back... Life is hard enough already, without needing grief from others, and you guys put a smile on my face, and a spring in my step. I am amazed and humbled by all the support I've received from all of you in the last few days, and I must just say a big THANK YOU, for letting me know I'm not irrelevant.


Let's all fight hard against this stupid Diabetes, together... :)

Yeah Liz! I am glad you decided to stay! I am in the same boat as you - no income, no insurance - hard to afford D when you are in that situation. I was thinking we should start a Group on here “Diabetes with No Insurance or Income”. :slight_smile:

I think it would be a great idea to be able to help fellow members who have no ins. and need supplies. I personally have several meters that I got at a D expo a couple years ago. I would be happy to sent them to people who could use them. They have never been used. Maybe someone else also has some supplies. Lizmari, hang in there !
