Im not very good at this but willing to give it a try. I just started on the victoza pen and waiting to see when I will get the side effects.
I started July 21 and had only mild side effects for 2 days. My portion size has already gone down and hve lost 2lbs. I go to 1.2gm tomorrow night. I was on insulin Lantus 38 units at nightbut have stopped that. I do use Novolog before meals to adjust my BG’s before I eat. I do NO CARB’s so I only shot if I am above 120. I have been type 2 since March 2007 and was on Byetta for 18 months before going to insulin. i think as I go up in dose(victoza) that I will be able to reduce even the Novolog that I take.
