I’m a Cancer (birthday yesterday).
Eating lunch now. Peanut Butter & Banana sandwich with whole grain Goldfish. I’ve got an intense workout at 6:30 so I’ll snack on some cashews around 4.
I’m afraid of the dentist, but still go regularly! In terms of life, most afraid of something bad happening to my loved ones.

Hey kpatter, how do you like this heat wave? I’m in Lawrenceville, GA and it’s finally cooled down to 90 F (that’s 32 C for you Josephine). It’s a little too warm for tea, but sweet tea is a southern specialty.
That’s the funny thing about Memphis…this is one of our cooler days. We’re actually in the high 80’s. Very high 80’s. Won’t last long, but it sure is nice!!! Our humidity is only like 53%, which is fantastic for Memphis.
I don’t do the sweet tea. The husband does and I’ve even gotten him to sweeten it using Splenda. I have an English friend that visits me every few years and the first time she stayed with me we went to Beale Street and had a heckuva night. The next morning she wanted some tea and all we had was sweet iced tea. I tried to warn her, but she said there was nothing we could do to tea that would deter her from drinking it. She spit it out as soon as that sugar took the top layer of enamel off of her teeth. I keep hot tea on hand now.
What do you do outside when it’s as hot as it is right now?
I always wish it was hotter, ha ha.
What do you do in the middle of winter when the gales are about to blow the roof of the house ? Thank you Yvonne.
We’ve been renovating our house the past 2 winters. So we do that or I surf the web a lot.

Yeah I would so love to be in Hawaii, with those other people who would look after us !!!
Rather be in Boca Grande, FL than Hawaii, but definitely in the ocean!!!
Diabetes has been a mixed blessing. It sucks!!! But from all the working out due to my (illogical, yet persistent) fear of insulin my body is in the best shape ever!!! Like Bette, I’m living a MUCH healthier lifestyle and it wasn’t like I was living unhealthy to begin with.
I don’t bother children and they don’t bother me 
No kids. By choice. If I want the nieces and nephew to go to sleep then I send them home!!!

You know I’ve tried to watch that movie so many times and I never get through it. Read the book. Enjoyed it. Love Nicholson. Just don’t get why I fall asleep every time. I won’t give up on it though.

Yeah, I’ve heard all the stuff about it’s different when you have your own. Pass. I enjoy my lifestyle. Much like Joe Dirt’s Carny life, it leaves me free and untethered. Also it allows me to spend my money on me. Yeah, I’m selfish like that. Better than passing some kids over to a nanny to raise.

Dressed up as a baby for halloween. Drank two baby bottles of peppermint schnaps. Got smashed off my butt! I no longer drink peppermint schnapps.
