Tip for Dry Skin Being Diabetic

I just thought I would post this because it made a difference for me. I used to get really dry skin, especially on my face to the point it looked like I was peeling from sunburn. I tried exfoliating face washes. Bad idea! I consulted with a my pharmacist and he said that because diabetic's immune systems are so low, exfoliating makes the skin even worse. Use baby shampoo for face wash. Also here is a lotion recipe:
1 container gentle skin cream (generic brand is fine)
1 tbsp. olive oil
1 tbsp vitamin E oil
1 tbsp hydrocortisone cream
Mix together and use daily. I have been using this lotion for almost a year and haven't had anymore problems with dry skin since. I hope this will help some of you all!
