Diabetic or not, a tough workout deserves a great breakfast, right? So when I came upon a pancake mix where one serving is only 27g of carbohydrate and contains 17 grams of protein, I had to try it! It sounded too good to be true... and my taste buds weren't real excited by the end result. Disclaimer: I am NOT accustomed to the taste of protein powder, as I have never used it before, so maybe that was my problem.
