I am getting really serious about attending TCOYD in DC in February. I'd like to put together a badge with my avatar on it with my TuDiabetes identity and then give out cards or something to people.
But I can't for the life of me see any resources for that? Is such a thing useful? Does DHF want me to do this? Is there a standard badge that I might print up just like my badge for a page? What about some sort of card to print up with the website?
When Mad was sued for copyright infringement by a woman claiming to hold the rights to the image, the magazine argued that it had copied the picture from various materials dating back to 1911 (which pre-dated the plaintiff's own claim). The lawsuit was unsuccessful, and the boy's face is now permanently associated with Mad.
I really do need to be careful about saying anything about Scientology.
I love this idea. The easiest thing to do would probably be to create something in Word and then buy some stock business cards at Staples and print it out. Shouldn't be too hard.
There may be something with your browser settings. You should not have to join, you should be able to see the pages and register without joining. Here is a link directly to the DC event, perhaps that will work.
Are you going to travel all the way from Portland to join us?
