Experienced severe night time lows that caused seizures. Lowest I was able to check was 22. Overly stringent control brings us diabetic unawareness.
Try not to get down on yourself, stay in charge, set goals, it's ok if you slip up once in a while...
#1 - 12 years was diagnosed on 9/11 (yeah that 9/11)
#2 - no - my highest BG was when my meter said HI - hospital reading was 625
#3 - no - lowest I've ever been is 37
#4 - This whole thing is trial and error, use guidance with a grain of salt. My D is not your D. Everyone is soooo different that starting points are great and kudos to those that can relay them to others but you really gotta figure out your own body, your own diet, and your own D, then fight the good fight
