I have burning in my stomach and chest as well as dry mouth/thirst even when my sugars are totally normal…ALL the time. I have narrowed it down to…acid reflux, chronic anxiety… or some other sketchy thing that I do not know about. Does anyone else get really dry mouth or reflux 24/7? it’s like symptoms of high blood sugar when i am completely normal 70 - 80 percent of the time.
I’ve gotten urine/blood tests, ultrasound on my ovaries (all have come back normal) and soon my yearly ultrasound on my kidneys because i’ve had blood in my urine since i was a kid…anyways, anyone have similar symptoms?
hey Jill, just wanted to say sorry you are not feeling well, I don’t have any other guess than a gall bladder issue - you ARE seeing a doctor, right?
yes they have not found anything; gallbladder problems run in my family though, thank you for bringing that up, maybe i’ll get that checked out
i’m no expert, but have you thought about the possibility of a food allergy? sometimes different foods dont make you sick right away or give you hives but instead just mess you up for two or three days or more. you could try going on an elimination diet.
I hope you feel better! Wish I had an answer for you.

Jill,
Acid, yes. I take pantoprazole for it. The literature says “pantoprazole is approved for the treatment of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD)”. Who comes up with these names? Like I want to go around telling people, “Oh, yes, I have GERD”. It sounds like I’m telling them I’m a goat herder or something. Not that there’s anything wrong with being a goat herder . . .
Here are a couple of articles I found dealing with the possible dry mouth part you described. It’s common among some diabetics.
Take care,
Tim
