My sensor has only been in for six days. I guess when you get the question marks you’re supposed to wait and it usually corrects itself. I panicked and restarted it. I should’ve read the manual on what to do. I thought I would let everyone know so they don’t make the same mistake I did.
Restarting it might work, even it it’s not the right thing to do — keep us posted!
I restarted a sensor after getting ??? about a week ago. It worked after the 2 hour start up period.
I didn’t seem to hurt the sensor. I just lost 2 hours that’s all. I am looking into buying opsite flexfix and skintac. I am also going to contact Animas to see if they can negotiate with my insurance. It would help even if they only paid for half.
SkinTac is great. Also get something like Remove (a.k.a. Uni-Solve), and both can be found online. I liked Amazon’s prices when I last stocked up, but you can get them at many places.

I found them cheaper ay Canmed direct. I am in Canada ,maybe that’s the difference. Amazon was charging 12.99 for shipping. For skintac and flexifix plus shipping my total would have been 157.00. At Can med it was under 100$, including shipping and tax.
My insurance has always covered SkinTac and Opsite Flexifix. Although yours might not, I suggest trying insurance first before ordering from Amazon. That being said, a bottle of SkinTac will last about 5 years and the Flexifix for several years also.
I find baby oil works also works well to take off the remaining adhesive residue on the skin.
Sounds like the cheaper way to go. I am going to call Animas today to see if I can get some financial assistance from my insurance company. It makes no sense. They would rather pay for hundreds of test strips than the sensors which cut down my usage especially when I do basal tests. My D educator said I can watch the sensor rather than picking my finger for the time period. I need them more in the warmer months because my job is seasonal. I am a housekeeper at a local motel in my area and the job is very physical. Wish me luck.
