There is a used test strip wedged under the plastic rug protector under my desk chair at work. I would need to pick up the whole thing to get it out, so I’m unsure of how it got there.
There was one on a treadmill at my gym that I hadn’t used for about a week. Shows how well they clean the place…
My roommate found one (of mine) in her work tote bag. No idea how it got there.
I just moved over the weekend, for christmas I received some silverware and decided not to open it until I moved. Well last night I was unpacking the unopened box of silverware to wash…and there was one of my test strips.
LOL I was just think about this the other night, great post.
there’s so many weird places…
…stuck on my back, inside my computer keyboard, in the parking lot at work, my wallet…
Im such a slob when it comes to medical waste.
I just found one in my pillowcase when I was changing sheets, this one was in the CLEAN pillowcase
i found one INSIDE a sandwich once… my only defense is that I was really low when I made the sandwich
Sounds yummy lol
I’ve found one in my coworker’s (who happens to be diabetic too) office. I use one touch strips and she uses bayer so we were both stumped as to how it got there.
you don’t even want to know . . .
yes we do, Tim
hahahahahahaha very nice!
so random! I was just thinking of starting this post.
All over the lab at work, in the cell culture room ( no idea how that happened since no one in their right mind would test there, and certainly not me), in my bra, in my bed, in the pockets of several coats…
I found one in the fridge last year.
On my dog! Stuck to her fur!
in a pack of gum i just purchased. Think of the oddity, the strip is ised, it gets into the pack of gum and i buy it. Wild chain of events.

In the bathtub drain. And I always test in the kitchen. How did it migrate!
HAHA. I wonder what her blood sugar was!
and here I was thinking I was the only one who found test strips everywhere. I know it gets on my mom’s nerves =)
I find them in drawers, in the tub, in my car, and sometimes in the driveway! It seems test strips travel more than I do!
Wedged between the keys of my computer keyboard at work, which is a place Eric and his diabetes supplies have never been. I can only imagine that it must have been stuck to my sweater or something.
