These are the ones I currently like to look at:
Then of course there is my great site/blog
http://www.walkingwithdiabetes.com
Actually this is the only Diabetes website I come to. I have some other site I belong to for fitness and things like that. But no others pertaining to Diabetes. I feel this is a great site and gives me the support and info I need.
Not tacky!
Why would TuDiabetes have a list of other recommended web sites on their pages if the founders didn’t want to share?
I believe that Manny & Andreina support getting knowledge and assistance wherever you may find it.
I just don’t happen to go to many other sites.
Actually, The question wasn’t meant to be Tacky more of an interest to know other bloggers etc. I love reading blogs and i’am always interested in hearing about good ones. Manny & Andreina have an awesome site and I don’t think anyone would question that.
Just for clarification purposes, neither I nor Andreina own TuDiabetes. The site per se is “owned” by the Diabetes Hands Foundation, which we only run.
I think it’s great to share other resources: TuDiabetes has a space in which it tries to do its best to serve the community, but we are very aware that we cannot pretend to be everything to everybody.
On a personal level, I regularly visit DiabetesDaily.com, DiabetesMine.com, SixUntilMe.com and Bernard’s Blog.
i like diabeticrockstar, but nobody goes on the forums -_-. So i constantly find myself here.
Thanks i just looked at this rocker one how nice and they help people that need supplies, thats really good to know. thanks for sharing,
Tu Diabetes was the first diabetes website I found. I’d say I’ve been on most of the bigger forums out there, but the other one I spend a lot of time on is CWD (www.childrenwithdiabetes.com). I also visit Six Until Me, and occasionally Diabetes Daily.
I visit tudiabetes just about everyday now. I use a RSS reader for sites I don’t visit daily to scan new articles and posts. If something grabs my attention, I will go to the site. It’s easier for me to gather tons of data this way as I also subscribe to other topics I am into. I have categories so I can just look at diabetes stuff if I want to.
sixuntilme.com
sweettalk.org -NEW PODCAST, really fun!
Favorite D-sites:
TuDiabetes
DiabeticConnect
Diabetesmine
Dlife
Blogs-That’s a whole different topic in itself…I visit a lot of D-blog’s:)
for 15 years I looked for a diabetes web site that was not boring. Tudiabetes.com is the only one I regularly consult. Now of corse I also go to this other site quite frequently and I do send them money, oops I better not talk about that.
Rick
Tu D is the best! I occasionally check out diabetesincontrol.com for the archived writers section.
Diabetes self management is also a very good site.
