I like Dlife, but my favorite is Diabeticlivingonline.com I am always surprised by the things that I can have that I have been craving. They have a knack for finding ways to make things work for diabetics like me. I really like the Chocolate Souffle. What are your favorites?

Your quite fortunate then. Unfortunately for me diabetic recipes are necessary. Not just for omitting sugar, but also for tracking carbohydrates. You must be well under control of your sugars.
Love the low carb recipes since the counting is already figured & the variety to keep me from eating the same thing over & over.
Hi Jeff! Some of my diabetic recipe’s comes from Dlife and Holly Clegg’s Trim&Terrific Diabetic Cooking. I also have another one but I can’t remember it’s name at the moment. It’s Diabetic Desserts that’s all I know…My favorite one is Blueberry Bread in the Holly’s cookbook on pg.46 and other one in her book is Chocolate Zucchini Bread on pg.44. Dlife recipe that I love is Amazing Diet Soda Cake… I love to make that recipe because no one can believe it’s a diabetic recipe. I have others but this is making me hungery! Also Have you tried Angel Food Cookies recipe on Dlife? They are wonderful! I made them for the Famers Market and 2 ladies bought them even though they were not diabetics and they were curious about them. They said that they were addicting…
I actually don’t use diabetic recipes or cookbooks either. Couple reasons: I don’t eat desserts at all. I cut out sugar long before my diabetic dx due to my eating disorder, and all my friends recommended this or that sugar free recipe or artificial sweetener. I wasn’t impressed with the quality of those items (I think they have probably improved a lot) and they made me crave “the real deal”. So I just basically didn’t eat dessert other than an espresso after a nice dinner out. Second thing is at least so far I haven’t been all that impressed with the diabetic recipes I’ve seen, especially as a vegetarian. Maybe there are more gourmet quality recipes for non-vegetarians. After buying a couple cookbooks I never used I ended up just learning to pick and choose and modify the recipes in the cookbooks I used before. I then do the carb count and write it right into the cookbook so I have it for next time! Maybe I’ll find some recipes I really like and it would be nice, like Gerri says to have the carb counts already done!
