Every once in a while my G5 transmitter goes a little wonky suddenly with 2 arrows up and showing rising and fairly high BG when I haven’t eaten anything and my meter agrees, I’m stable and normal (well my blood sugar is at least 
) Has anyone else run into this problem? It never happened with the G4.
The G4 and G5 use the same sensors and software (as long as you had the G4 505 update). You may have a defective transmitter, a bad sensor, or a bad site location, but what you are experiencing has nothing to do with G4 versus G5. I would give Dexcom a call to troubleshoot.
I’m using my phone only as a receiver and this is the second G5 transmitter I’ve used so it’s not this particular transmitter since it happened with both. Maybe just something odd about my interstitial fluid if no one else has experienced this, who knows…
