A1c results

Thank you very much. I worked hard to get them numbers down and I will keep working as hard to get them down as close to normal. By the way, I am still eating good food,just not as much. I am Puerto Rican and I love my rice.
Only thing I switched to brown rice and I love bread,but, I switched to wheat bread and I love spaghetti,mostaccoli
(spell check) but all are wheat. If you add the right spices they taste as good if not better than the regular stuff.
I cut out soda completely and replaced it with water, (does a body good). There are alot of things that can be done and not feel denied of good food. We just have to think differently about how much. If you really like soda ,switch to diet soda and get use to the taste. But I believe the biggest thing that made the difference is, move that body. I am 49 and I am a truck driver so exercise was never in my to do list for the day. I only do cardio for now just to get the blood pumping and flush out all the junk that causes diabetic symptoms. I am a type 2 and I take Metformin 500 2 x a day and Glipizide 5 mg 2 x a day and my goal is to lose weight and get off the meds. I believe it is not impossible. Remember what works for me might not work for you. It’s all trial and error. Test,test,test to see what works for you. So on that note I say, keep fighting the good fight and never give up because all that can come out of all this are good things.
